He added: reconstruction of the main compressor parts of the chemical plant II, updating the control [A New Production Record Set at Saman Petrochemical Company] system of PET plant I without stopping the production process, updating the Cathodic Protection System of PET plant II, and installing the third Poly f cutter are among the most important measures taken to set the new production record in Saman Petrochemical Company.
He called the continuous production of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) as the main factor in setting the new records in the conditions of sanctions and said: achieving a record of continuous production of about 100 thousand tons of Pure Terephthalic Acid in phase 2 from the April of 2020 has played a significant role in the production records.
Malekzadeh said that with principled planning, we are looking to improve production records at Saman Petrochemical Company by the end of this year and continued: with looking at the production records, the implementation of environmental projects is also on the program, so that 21 environmental projects are being implemented in the stages of study, holding tenders and executive operations.
Saman Petrochemical Company is the largest producer of strategic products of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) in Iran. The company, as the largest and only producer of Polyethylene Terephthalate chain products in the petrochemical industry of the country, has an annual production capacity of more than one million and 587 thousand tons of various products, including various grades of PET.
